While watching Superstar Rajinikanth’s movie Annaamalai, I noticed a scene where he was driving a pickup truck. At first, it looked similar to the Tata 207 pickup, but the design beyond the C-pillar seemed quite different. The front grille appeared to be customized, resembling the Mercedes W123. On closer observation, the vehicle seemed to be a Tata Estate that had its rear section chopped off to resemble a lifestyle pickup truck.
The Tata Estate was powered by a 1.9-litre Peugeot-sourced diesel engine, producing 67 bhp and 118 Nm of torque. It came paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
